About Us
Hey there! We are so glad that you've found our sites. A lot of love and a ton of labor has gone into making these sites enjoyable, insightful, even revelational for you (though that's definitely the Lord's part in this). Meeting all of you is a pleasure we're looking forward to heaven, since we'll have time enough then with no obstacles coming in between. These are a few ways of getting to know more about us down here.
Who We Are
The Rev. Steve Evans
Director, Forerunner Ministries, Inc.
I'm an ordained priest of the Episcopal Church with a deep concern to see the wounded in the Body of Christ become whole and for Christians everywhere to become fully equipped for Spirit empowered service to our Risen Lord.
Why would anyone start an inner healing ministry? I like to say that what qualifies me for this work is that I wrecked a perfectly good life so completely that only a truly great God could put it back together. The notes I took on what the Lord used to mend me have become the basis for all the teachings and methods of ministry.
Because of what I went through (under the enemy's oppression) and what the Lord has brought me into (of new life in Christ), I have a passion to see others "get their lives back!" If you want to read more about me, go to "Steve's Story."

What We Believe
- The unconditional love of the Father as our source of grace and refining fire.
- The example of our Lord Jesus Christ as our model for ministering to others.
- The power of the Holy Spirit as our source of new life and effective ministry.
- The Holy Scriptures as our foundation for truth and final authority.
- The Body of Christ as a holy Bride in training for divine love and spiritual warfare.
- The dignity of each individual as one for whom Christ lives and died.
Vision Statement
We are forerunners preparing the way of the Lord through training and equipping the Body of Christ for Spirit-filled life and service.
- Training is in the ways of the Lord: entering the glorious liberty.
- Equipping is for service to the Lord: learning to liberate others.
Our goal is to work in concert with the Holy Spirit to prepare the way of the Lord in these five main areas:
1) Reach the lost.
2) Cleanse and heal the Bride of Christ.
3) Reveal the Father and let His glory be known.
4) Prepare the Church for what is coming.
5) Bring forth the glorious liberty of the sons of God.

Steve's Story Over half of my autobiography, Rescued from Hell, is posted here for free for two reasons: 1) You have a right to know about the one who is seeking to help you grow in the spiritual life so that you can better decide if you want to trust me as a teacher and 2) practically everything on the site first came into my life as a truth I needed for the sake of my own growth. There are, therefore, many points where my story carries a testimony that could help you gain insights or inspiration to overcome your own obstacles.
